My name is Rebecca Howard and I am the founder of Sterling Domestics. I have been personally involved in the nanny industry for several years both as a professional nanny and as the founding operator of one of Southern California's premier nanny referral services.

During my time working as a nanny I encountered several different nanny agencies and referral services. Some were excellent and very thorough, and others just seemed to be lacking in customer service and follow through with important things like background and reference checking. As I continued on in my chosen field, I began to think that one day I would like to create a nanny service that would provide fast and courteous service while providing families and nannies with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the company is doing everything it promises with regards to screening, background checking and referring quality caregivers.

After creating and running a highly successful nanny placement service for five years I realized that Southern California lacked an option for families in need of high end domestic assistance. Out of this demand Sterling Domestics was born!

I thoroughly enjoy working with my clients to provide excellence in the household employee referral industry, but my most important role is that of mother to my twins, Spencer and Reghan. My children have taught me that finding and retaining quality domestic help is the single most important thing that you can do as a parent. They continue to be my inspiration while I am working with my clients to provide excellent referrals.
